Screenshots van Beta Vista SP2
Afgelopen zondag heb ik de Beta van Vista SP2 geïnstalleerd en ondertussen de volgende screenshots gemaakt:
Op de website Tech ARP staat duidelijk uitgelegd wat de nieuwe features in SP2 zijn:

- Contains the Bluetooth® 2.1 Feature Pack supporting the most recent specification for Bluetooth Technology.
- Ability to record data on to Blu-Ray™ media natively in Windows Vista.
- Adds Windows Connect Now (WCN) to simplify Wi-Fi Configuration.
- Enables the exFAT file system to support Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) timestamps, which allows correct file synchronization across time zones.
Als ik bovenstaande lijstje zo lees, dan valt het allemaal wel mee wat er in SP2 zit. De nieuwe features hadden ook via gewone updates aangeboden kunnen worden wat mij betreft. Een andere opmerkelijke observatie lees ik op forums waar men over een iets betere overall performance van Windows Vista spreekt.

Ik wacht liever tot de final release. Merk jij ook wat van die performance winst?

Ik merk het niet direct snelheidswinst. Mogelijk is het opstarten sneller, maar dat weet ik niet zeker?

Ik wacht hem ook af, verheug me meer op de Windows 7 Beta.
Hoewel zoals je zelf ook al zei dat het geen Super Service pack blijkt te worden. Achja ze zullen ook wel wat bugjes oplossen ermee.
